It has often been said to me that redundancy happens for a reason, it focuses the mind and gives you opportunities to pursue your dreams, you’ll look back on this in a year and think how wonderful it was that I was made redundant!

No pressure then.

Since my redundancy from a much loved job in March 2015. I have been jumping from idea to idea like a skittish bunny. What do I really love to do, what makes me happy?

And after discounting a long long list of potential new careers for various reasons I am now entering the: how hard can it be? phase.

I have ideas almost daily on how I could possibly make a living by doing what I love – often with more enthusiasm than experience. With the mantra ‘How hard can it be?’ as a constant companion.

With this blog I hope to capture my journey from redundant to useful again and all the places I visit inbetween.

I would love to hear from you if you enjoy any of my ramblings and can offer any advice or comment or moral support!

    • Hey thanks for letting me know they arrived safely – Ali said she had sent them to you – I’m glad you like them and they are proving useful! It’s exciting to think that something we made is all the way over on the other side of the world! 🙂

      • Well, North Carolina isn’t quite t’other side th’ world, but’s definitely other side th’ pond! Am enjoying them greatly, and packaging – so cute & cheery. Best of luck with your studies as they sound a grand match for your interest & talents. Cheers!
